Before you arrive

If you are staying with us during the winter, you may want to book your Wisp ski passes ahead of time. Depending on the amount of snow they can make and trails they can open, they often sell out in advance - especially on holiday weekends.

Over the summer, you may want to reserve a boat in advance - especially if you want it for multiple days.

Watersports

You can rent boats, kayaks, paddle boards, and more from Bill's, Aquatic Center, Silver Tree, or Lake Life Rentals. If you are just renting a boat for your vacation, you won't need a Maryland boating license, but you can get one here if you so choose.

Groceries

You can pick up groceries at Walmart and Shop & Save, while Dollar General is great for a quick convenience trip. Lake Home Services also offers concierge service if you'd like to have your groceries stocked for you. t you on social media? Activities

Check out all the Local Attractions in the Deep Creek area. Some of our favorite activities are the Deep Creek Lake State Park and their Discovery Center, Swallow Falls, Wisp Resort, Monkey Business Adventure Park, Deep Creek Lavender Farm, FireFly Farms, and Simon Pearce Glass Factory.

There are some new additions to the area - Fly Deep Creek helicopter tours, Espresso Alley, Wildom Farm, and the Travel Mug.

Dining

For dining, you can't go wrong with Firewater Kitchen & Bar, Dutch's at Silver Tree Restaurant, Trader's Coffee House, Casselman Bakery and Café, Brenda's Pizzeria, and Mountain State Brewing. If you'd like the chef to come to you, OnPointe Cuisine will come over and cook a private dinner for you.

For a night out, Honi Honi Bar and Pawn Run Bar and Kitchen are great spots.
